January 3, 2020 (Salt Lake City) – Mountain West Small Business Finance (MWSBF), Utah’s largest SBA lender, welcomes Tyler Healey as vice president, commercial loan officer. Based in Mountain West’s office in Logan, Utah (95 west 100 South, Suite 386), Healey will be responsible for the company’s loan production in Northern Utah and Wyoming.
“We continue to see positive growth and expansion in the region,” said Spencer Davis, senior lending officer for Mountain West. “And while we’ve had a presence in the region for decades, we know from experience that a full-time loan officer living in the area plays a huge role in sustained economic development, both in Northern Utah and our expanding operation in Wyoming.”

Davis said that Healey’s affection for the area played a key role in why he was chosen for the position, as it creates a huge win for MWSBF and the community. “One thing that was very apparent about [Tyler] is how excited he is about being in Cache Valley. He has family in the area and has been looking forward to putting down roots in Logan for a while. We know when someone is passionate about the place they serve in, it benefits the entire community.”
Besides his excitement about relocating to Cache Valley, Healey brings a wealth of knowledge to the role with more than a decade of experience in the banking sector. He worked for Zions Bank (2010 – 2012), for TAB Bank (2012 – 2015), and most recently as a Loan officer/Relationship Manager at Alta Bank, (formerly: Bank of American Fork).
Healey graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2011. He and his wife Jessica are the parents to four children: Boston (eight), Millie (six), Winston (four) and Corbin (three months old.). In addition to spending time with his family, he loves being outdoors hiking, hunting, riding dirt bikes and fishing.
