Anyone with concerns about their small business during the COVID-19 pandemic can be directed to the SBA for Disaster Relief Loans. Beginning today, the SBA is offering low-interest federal disaster loans to Utah small businesses suffering economically as a result of COVID-19. These loans will help business owners cover expenses such as payroll, accounts payable, and paying fixed debts.
Small businesses may qualify for loans of up to $2 million to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses. The interest rate will range from 2.75% for non-profits and 3.75% for small businesses.
Businesses wishing to apply, may do so online by visiting https://disasterloanassistance.sba.gov/ela/s/. The SBA can also be reached via phone at (800) 659-2955 or via email at disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
