June 26, 2019, (Salt Lake City) – Mountain West Small Business Finance (MWSBF), Utah’s largest SBA lender, welcomes Brooks Harbertson as vice president, commercial loan officer at the Orem, Utah office. In his new capacity, Harbertson will support the Central Utah operation. Two of MWSBF’s key loan officers at the Utah County office, Debbie Harper and Michael Vanchiere, are planning to retire later this year.

Proven Production Record
Harbertson has worked in a number of different lending capacities for more than 15 years. His most recent role was vice president and senior commercial lender in Park City, Utah for Mountain West Bank. He was the Idaho-based bank’s only lender for the State of Utah. Previously, he worked for Zions Bank in private banking, commercial lending, and their national real estate group. Prior to joining Mountain West Bank, Harbertson took a sabbatical from banking to work as the development director for a nonprofit where he had previously served as Board Chair.
About Brooks Harbertson
Additionally, Harbertson graduated with a bachelor’s of science in economics from the University of Utah. He and his wife Lisa have been married for 20 years in July – high school sweethearts and have known each other since they were 10 and 11. They have four children: boy and girl twins (15), and two other sons (13 and 8). Brooks loves spending time with his family in the outdoors.
