An Attitude of Gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude

“We were given the challenge to create something beyond a turkey or cornucopia this year,” Lindsay Boulter, head Marketing assistant at Mountain West Small Business Finance said. “The reality is, every day at this office, more than 40 employees come together with a single focus – to help small businesses succeed. Their success is our success, and we wanted to show our gratitude for them.”

And that’s where the idea for the logo with all the borrower’s names came from. Boutler continued, “We wanted a representation of what has made Mountain West successful this year, and what we’re grateful for—it seemed like the perfect fit.”

Mountain West’s President John D. Evans often refers to Mountain West as “the largest SBA lender you’ve never heard of,” even though in 2018, Mountain West did more than 185 small business loans. In its 38 year history, the company has helped more than 5000 companies in the state and surrounding areas get the financing they need to grow their businesses.

In addition to the artistic-rendering of Mountain West’s logo in honor of the holidays, the company also launched its first social media contest on Instagram over the Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving extended holidays. The grand prize winner –received a pair of lower bowl Jazz tickets, and Boulter said the “MWSBF Dozen Days of Giving” has already given away more Jazz tickets and Mountain West swag. Details can be found on the company’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

So consider this a not-so-subtle reminder to follow us on social media this holiday season!
