June 24, 2019, (Salt Lake City) – Mountain West Small Business Finance (MWSBF), Utah’s largest SBA lender, welcomes Randy Fischer as vice president, commercial loan officer – Bridgerland. Based in Mountain West’s new location in Logan,Utah (95 west 100 South, Suite 386), Fischer will be responsible for the company’s loan production in Northern Utah and Wyoming. Judd Blakesley, vice president loan officer and recently named manager of marketing & government relations previously had oversight for the Bridgerland operation.
“While we’ve had an office in Logan for decades, Randy’s full-time presence in Northern Utah will be key to continued economic development in the region, and also help to further expand and grow our operation in Wyoming,” said Spencer Davis, senior lending officer for Mountain West. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role with 15 years in the banking and finance sector. Plus, his experience as a small business owner gives Randy a unique perspective that will benefit lender and borrower alike.”
About Randy Fischer
Prior to joining MWSBF, Fischer was a loan officer at Lewiston State Bank. He holds a degree in Management & Finance from the University of Utah and an MBA from Utah State University. His business philosophy is to do what is right for the customer, while providing healthy financial options—which Davis says fits perfectly into Mountain West’s mission and culture.
Additionally, Fischer serves on the board of Cache Employment and Training Center, Estate Planning Council of Northern Utah, and is on Richmond City’s planning and zoning council. He enjoys traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, and anything outdoors with his friends and family. He also enjoys coaching his kids’ basketball and baseball teams. Fischer lives in Richmond with his wife and three kids.
